EMPAT Total Spore Count - Pilot Round 2 Invitation

I am excited to invite all laboratories to participate in the second round of the EMPAT Total Spore Count pilot study. The pilot round will close on November 16, 2020, and this round we are accepting as many participants as possible.

There is no need to confirm your participation, just follow the instructions below to begin. Information on this digital proficiency testing pilot program is available here: http://bit.ly/EMPAT-TotalSporeCount.

The pilot round will consist of images that represent the trace of 4 slides (8-11 images per "slide"). The images will need to be viewed/downloaded along with the corresponding recording sheet. One completed recording sheet for each "slide" will be uploaded using the form on the information page. File uploads are required by November 16, 2020, with a report to pilot participants expected by December 31, 2020.

You may have more than one analyst submit data to the pilot round but each analyst will need a separate set of recording sheets.

Brief Instructions:
Navigate to: http://bit.ly/EMPAT-TotalSporeCount
Read the instructions and FAQs above the files
Download the slide-specific image files and recording sheets
Complete the recording sheet for each "slide"
Upload the 4 recording sheets per analyst

I look forward to your participation in the voluntary pilot program. Please let me know if you have any questions.
