The program will provide the opportunity to demonstrate proficiency at determining the mass of airborne particulate matter by gravimetric analysis. The Worker Exposure in the Cannabis and Hemp Industry Program is designed for laboratories that analyze plant materials for the presence of pesticides, heavy metals, biological contaminants, and organic solvents. The program will provide the opportunity to demonstrate proficiency at detecting hazards in the cannabis and hemp industries. The proficiency testing substrate will consist of non-controlled plant material.​​​​

Mercury by Cold Vapor AA

This program is designed for laboratories that routinely analyze air samples for mercury by NIOSH 6009. The expected range is 0.1 to 1.2 µg and pilot samples are expected to be available by Q2 2022.
