IHPAT Diffusive Sampler Badge Program Update

Based on the IHPAT Diffusive Sampler survey responses and in line with changes the 3M 3500 badge change (discontinuation), AIHA PAT Programs will offer only SKC 575-002 and Assay Technology 566AT badges beginning with IHPAT Diffusive Round 228 (January 1, 2022). All 3M participants will be contacted to confirm which of those options your organization wishes to be enrolled in for 2022. You will then see the selected badge on the invoices for 2022 in the Fall.

Background Information:
The updated model, 3M 3500+ is listed on the 3M IH Sampling Guide with a reference to the Assay Technology AT L-OV (GC/FID) method and the 3M 3500+ will be the same sampling rates for the diffusive sampler contaminants as the Assay Technology 566AT, based upon a review of the Assay Technology Inc ‐ Sampling Guide(PDF) and 3M IH Sampling Guide(PDF).

The Assay Technology 566AT is the badge used for AT participation in the IHPAT Diffusive Sampler Program.
